Job Summary
The Highland River Group Ashley Furniture store in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the office environment. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in computer applications, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

This position will work in our beautiful Ashley HomeStore located at 2400 US Rt 68 South, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Able to work retail hours including weekends and some early evenings, as scheduled
  • Provide exceptional customer service assistance to our retail guests and customers
  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficiency in administrative processes.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to information.
  • Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while handling incoming calls and messages.
  • Support team members with personal assistant tasks as needed, enhancing overall productivity.
  • Utilize computer literacy to manage various software applications relevant to office functions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

Experience

  • Minimum 2 Years Retail Office Administrative Management, Office, Administrative Assistant or Customer Service Experience or equivalent preferred
  • Familiarity with organizational practices, customer service principles, and data entry techniques is essential.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software, are required.
  • Self-starter - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is crucial for success in this position.
  • Ability to work in a busy fast paced office setting
